Spacious room in Victorian home, £625/month per room Property reference "#0132479"
About the property
I have a spacious double room becoming available end of Summer when my current lodger moves out. You will be sharing with me and my lovely cat who is very friendly but vocal, so a cat lover is a must! Unfortunately I can’t accept any other pets.
I work in Birmingham as a teacher and am looking for someone (female only) who is friendly and respectful of my home. Ideally a long term let but open to shorter stays too. I can be flexible on move in date for the right person.
The house is in a brilliant location with lots of transport links. In less than 10 minutes you can walk to Acocks Green Train station which takes you to Moor Street in less than 10 minutes. Birmingham Airport is a 15 minute drive away. It takes around 15 minutes to walk down to Acocks Green centre which has an Aldi, Morrisons and other useful shops. The road is really quiet with friendly neighbours and I always manage to get a parking space.
The room is furnished with a double bed, bedside table, chest of drawers, wardrobe and desk and overlooks the garden. It is south facing so gets lots of natural sunlight.
Next to the room is the bathroom which has a huge bath, rainfall shower, toilet, sink and storage.
Downstairs there is a cosy shared living room with access to the TV. Netflix and TV License are included. There is a bright dining room with table & chairs and small sofa.
The kitchen has everything you need but there is space for you to store small appliances. It is equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, double fridge/freezer, oven/hob, microwave, air fryer and Nespresso machine. We are also lucky to have an under stairs pantry which provides lots of storage for food.
The kitchen leads out to a lovely sunny garden with table and chairs and sun lounger.
If you’re interested, please get in touch and tell me a bit about yourself :)
