Blackwall is located in the Docklands, in Poplar, and is one of the oldest areas of the city. It’s a short distance away from Canary Wharf and a bit more accessible so perfect for commuters to the financial district. Poplar and Blackwall have their charm and are constantly being improved with the recent new developments. Whilst there’s not a huge amount to do particularly in the area, it does have its moments with Billingsgate and Chrisp Street Market offering plenty of good food.
